The Tulare County Regional Transit Agency will hold a public hearing to receive public comments on the draft 2026–2031 Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP).
About the Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP)
The Tulare County Regional Agency (TCRTA) Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP) serves as the agency’s five-year strategic planning document for public transportation services in Tulare County. Required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the SRTP identifies current and future transit needs, establishes service goals and priorities, and provides a framework for improving public transportation over the next five years.

How to Comment
Comments may be submitted in writing by mail, email, online, or in person at the scheduled Public Hearing. The public review and comment period will remain open for 30 days. Written comments must be received by September 7, 2026.

It is anticipated that the Board of Directors will take action on the draft SRTP at their regular meeting scheduled for September 21st, 2026, following the public hearing.

El Plan de Tránsito a Corto Plazo (SRTP) de la Agencia Regional del Condado de Tulare (TCRTA) sirve como el documento de planificación estratégica a cinco años de la agencia para los servicios de transporte público en el Condado de Tulare. Requerido por la Administración Federal de Tránsito (FTA) y el Departamento de Transporte de California (Caltrans), el SRTP identifica las necesidades actuales y futuras de tránsito, establece metas y prioridades de servicio, y proporciona un marco para mejorar el transporte público en los próximos cinco años.
